Whether it’s your initial step or you’ve been separated for a long time, the divorce proceedings are indeed a very tough period for everyone involved. We can prioritise what you need to do, particularly if you have any serious concerns about domestic abuse, children, or financial settlements. We always seek to keep proceedings as peaceful as possible, but we also defend you if your partner refuses to reach an agreement or is abusive. Our expert Solicitors first thoroughly understand the scenario and then address potential issues.

How our Family Law Solicitors can help?

With the wealth of knowledge and experience, we have one of the greatest teams of professional family lawyers in the United Kingdom. Our expert solicitors guide you in all areas of family law, including separation, divorce, prenuptial agreements, childcare, and financial settlements. When you are in need, we provide one-on-one consultation. Our experts listen to you, offer support, and present viable solutions for the best possible outcome for you and your family.

The way you handle your divorce has a long-term impact on your life. You should always consult with an experienced divorce solicitor as quickly as you realise that divorce is probably inevitable.

To apply for a divorce, you must be at marital status for at least 1 year. Generally, you have to provide your official marriage certificate. If the certificate is not in English, you have to give your official marriage certificate as well as an authorised transcript. We can request a copy of the marriage certificate if you were married in the United Kingdom. If your marriage took place outside of the UK and you are unable to receive a copy of the marriage certificate, we’ll need to submit an additional petition with the court.

At our first appointment, we will be able to estimate how long your divorce will take. Before we can give you an estimated timeframe, we’ll need to talk about and evaluate our information.  A number of factors might alter the process length, such as whether your spouse is overseas and whether he/she collaborates with the procedures.

Our Family Solicitors at Solicitors Inn’ have great empathy for families going through terrible times. We’ve helped many couples figure out how to deal with their problems, and we’ll peacefully work with you to find a happy medium.

We submit the applications along with all the required documentation and pieces of information on behalf of the client in time. We obtain updates and provide you with updates on your family matters without any delay.
